Gemma's Garden Care

About Me

I studied Fine Art at university and plants have always been a feature of my work. I also love being outdoors whatever the weather, so a few years ago I decided to combine these interests and began to train as gardener.

After volunteering with a local charity I applied for the WRAG scheme, subsequently gaining a year-long trainee gardener position at Christ's College, Cambridge. Alongside this I studied for my RHS Level 2 qualifications in the theory and practice of horticulture, going on to work at two other colleges before deciding to become self employed.

I take a careful, nature friendly approach to gardening, using hand tools as much as possible and quieter, battery powered machinery when more power is needed!

I offer regular garden maintenance on a fortnightly or monthly basis. I work in Ely, Cambridgeshire and surrounding villages.

I have Public Liability Insurance.
